2012

Greensafe IT is Founded

Established in Bromsgrove, Greensafe IT set out to provide secure, sustainable ITAD services — including data wiping, recycling, refurbishment, and remarketing of IT assets.

2016

Relocation to Freehold Facility

Moved operations to a 25,000 sqft freehold site at Hoo Farm Industrial Estate in Kidderminster. By this point, 90% of business was driven through channel partners.

2017

Brand Refresh & Strategic Growth

Rebranded to reflect a broader vision. Introduced a six-division service model and successfully processed over 180,000 devices. Gained access to public sector opportunities through the G-Cloud framework.

2018

Facility Expansion

Warehouse footprint more than doubled to 60,000 sqft. New office and configuration suites were established to support growing customer needs and service demand.

2019

Diversified Services

Launched Managed Print and Warranty Support services. Headcount grew to 95 permanent employees, reflecting continued growth across all service areas.

2020

Operational Transformation

Redesigned ITAD processes to drive efficiency and scalability. Introduced new infrastructure, technology upgrades, and night shift operations to meet rising demand.

2021

Post-Pandemic Service Acceleration

Adapted rapidly to shifting user needs — with 90% of deployments focused on laptops. The Swap-IT service expanded significantly across the client base.

2022

European Launch

Opened our first European operation in Utrecht, Netherlands, delivering IT lifecycle services with an increased focus on sustainable and climate-aware logistics.

2023

Refurbishment & Break-Fix Innovation

Developed new break-fix and refurbishment solutions designed to extend device life and enhance our circular economy offerings.

2024

Berry Hill Site Opens

Opened a new site at Berry Hill to accommodate continued growth. The team expanded to over 190 permanent employees, with plans for further scaling in progress.
