Sustainability at the heart of what we do
Greensafe is committed to long-term sustainability through our carbon reduction strategy.
As we progress on our journey to Net Zero, a key focus is supporting our clients in achieving carbon neutrality within their IT operations.
Our teams are actively exploring new ways to improve reuse rates and increase the sustainability of our refurbishment processes ensuring that both Greensafe and our clients make measurable progress toward a greener future.

Lyra
Greensafe was proud to support a major initiative led by Lyra in Africa, delivering over TZS 600 million worth of computer equipment to rural ward schools in Tanzania’s Iringa region.
This was part of a wider effort that included the construction of a girls’ hostel at Mseke Secondary School, providing a safe and supportive environment for students and improving access to digital learning.
This collaboration – involving Softcat, the Michael Matthews Foundation, and Greensafe – was recognised by the Iringa District Commissioner, who praised the organisations for their contribution to advancing gender equality, e-learning, and infrastructure in rural education.
Planting Trees every day
At Greensafe IT, sustainability is at the heart of everything we do. For every device we refurbish, we support tree planting initiatives through Ripple Africa, helping to combat deforestation and climate change in Malawi.
Ripple Africa empowers local communities to be the drivers of environmental change, planting trees and protecting forests as part of wider projects in education, healthcare, and agriculture. This initiative not only offsets carbon but also uplifts the lives of thousands of Malawians.
We believe in giving devices a second life — and giving the planet a better future.
